Dear Riverglades Families,

At Riverglades Elementary, we believe every child has unique gifts, limitless potential, and the ability to make a positive difference in the world. It is our privilege to partner with you in helping your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing the confidence to lead with character, kindness, and purpose.

We are incredibly proud to be an "A" Rated School and a Florida School of Excellence, recognized by the State of Florida for our commitment to academic excellence. While we celebrate these accomplishments, we are even more proud of the caring, resilient, and responsible young leaders our students become each day.

These habits help our students become compassionate classmates, confident learners, thoughtful problem-solvers, and responsible citizens. They are the foundation for building meaningful relationships, making positive choices, and achieving success both inside and outside the classroom.

Our 2026–2027 theme, "Lead Like a Champion," reminds us that being a champion is about much more than winning. Champions show perseverance when challenges arise, encourage and lift up those around them, celebrate the success of others, and always strive to do their very best. At Riverglades, we believe every child has the heart of a champion, and every day provides a new opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and inspire.
